International Women’s Day at Gîte Cruon

In the end, in light of world events, we found ourselves gently recalibrating the tone of the day, reflecting on how important it is, especially in uncertain times, to pause, reconnect and support one another.

Our International Women’s Day retreat at Gîte Cruon brought together ten women for a day of reflection, connection and personal growth. The morning began with a gentle welcome, introductions and the Give to Gain workshop, where participants explored how they give their time and energy across different areas of life and reflected on what they would like to gain more of in return. Through guided exercises, small group discussions and journaling, women identified where their giving strengthens them and where they may need to set clearer boundaries.

After lunch, the afternoon focused on relaxation and integration, with yoga and pilates. The day closed with a sharing circle where each participant reflected on what she was taking away from the experience.

The feedback was fantastic, with many women leaving feeling energised, supported and inspired.
